The UWT Labor Solidarity Project Presents: “Working, Together”

 In News

The LSP consists of faculty and students working to highlight labor studies in the curriculum, in research, and through community outreach. Since its founding in 2019, the LSP has organized speakers, funded research initiatives, and developed curriculum highlighting and deepening our region’s understanding of its distinctive and proud labor history. As this quarter’s lineup of speakers suggests, issues of economic and social justice remain a central focus of this work.

It’s an absolute honor to host these events, and it’s great to see some familiar names in the audience, so please consider Zooming in for some or all of the seminars, which will kick off next Wednesday, 10/6 at 6pm PST, with Chuck Keeney discussing the history and legacy of the Battle of Blair Mountain. As always, these events are free and open to the public, so tune in and get radical!

If you know of someone who might be interested in attending this seminar series, they can register here:
