Reconciliation Starts With Truth – CLC

 In News

There are no words!

Canada’s unions stand in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples across the country who are mourning the loss of not only the 215 children found buried at the former site of the Kamloops Indian Residential School, but thousands of other children who never came home.

It is time for change!

In 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission delivered its final report. that report included 94 specific calls to action, including a call to unearth burial sites like the one in Kamloops. It’s time to take concrete action to address the inequities and systemic racism faced by indigenous peoples.

Calls for Justice
