A Tribute to Three BC Farmworkers

A Tribute to Three BC Farmworkers

Article from the BC Labour Heritage Centre – Aug.3, 2017

Our latest video in a series on the history of health and safety in our province has been released.
On March 7, 2007, a van crashed into a median on the Trans-Canada Highway, killing three farmworkers. This video, produced by WorkSafeBC for the B.C. Labour Heritage Centre, tells the story of these three women, the investigation into their deaths, and the Golden Tree monument dedicated to their memory.
This tribute is the newest addition to our History of Health and Safety video series, available online.
